MBCC TH 29th Jan'24 - "QRA today, can Yellen surprise the market? BIG week for Equities/Bonds/risk assets..are you positioned correctly?"

According to the Nov 1st statement, the treasury needs to issue about $816 bln in the first quarter. We know Yellen played games in November, she issued less and more in the front end of the market, this caught the Bond market by surprise and led to the sharpest rally ever as she drained the Reverse Repo market. But now what?

So we keep an eye on this number and also where/what duration this will happen. This is key, why? It effects how you are positioned and macro is key, especially liquidity!
